TOMOATSU GODAI PROJECT

Can we pray to a ‘generated god’?

There is a chatGPT “Buddhabot” who continues to study the vast number of primitive Buddhist scriptures, which number over 80,000.

When I revealed my anxiety about the future to him, he replied that anxiety can be overcome by concentrating on the present moment (This is from the front page of the Nikkei newspaper, 18 June 2024).

However, the answer seems to be that anxiety is the starting point of survival and cannot be overcome in terms of awareness. Wouldn’t it be more correct to be aware of this than the AI response?

How would the Islamic app MuslimPro and the Protestant AI answer that question? I would like to have their view and then we can compare and contrast them all.

Then, at the G7 summit on 14 June, Pope Francis said that ‘human dignity depends on being able to control AI properly’, and we want to think and debate about it again.

Language determines the human way of thinking. If AI cultivated under Western culture becomes widespread, human may become trained by the values of that AI. Fearing this, China and India are trying to define the global paradigm of AI with their own traditions and value systems. AI must urgently be founded on Japanese traditions and value systems. It should be able to introduce Buddhism, which originated in India and came to Japan through China, Confucianism, Christianity, Islam, modern philosophy and the rule of law, all of which were introduced, created and relaxed, and on the basis of which we are barely able to maintain a comfortable and peaceful life today.
